For Longer Lasting Scent, Go for Jar Candles
Do you like to burn candles for their scent? Then there are a few things you should know to maximize the amount of scent you get from your candles. For one, with most candles, the longer you store the away, the less scent they will have when you burn them. The scent simply escapes over time.
But some candles will last a lot longer than others. There are lots of different kinds of candles on the market like votives and pillars, but if you want the most fragrance, jar candles are usually the best way to go.
Since they airtight, they simply seal in the fragrance better. These often even have more fragrance that other candles in the store, this is because many pf those candles could have sat on the shelves for months.
If you’re like me and like to burn votives around the house as well, for the strongest scent, seek out the votives wrapped in plastic. They’re usually a little more expensive than the others, but might deliver more scent.
A nice, strong scented candle is a great way to revitalize a room, so when you find the perfect one, enjoy!
