A Highly Scented Candle Will Make More of an Impression in the Right Room

Using a highly scented candle in a large room will create a pleasant fragrance throughout the room. Burning one candle is, in most cases, better than having to burn several smaller candles just to get the scent equally as strong on one side of the room as it is on the other. Reducing the need for several candles throughout the home to just a few, is better in many ways.

Obviously, buying several candles every couple of weeks costs more in the long run than buying one expensive candle that burns for 30+ hours, but it can be even more economical than that. Burning more candles, especially cheaper candles, produces more soot, and will stain your walls, carpet, and everything else. By burning less candles, you will have to paint and steam clean less, thus saving money.

Unless you are going for that old gothic church look in your home, the less candles the better, but you still want the aroma of lilacs, or other pleasant scent throughout your home. Well, that sounds like the perfect circumstance to use a candle with increased scent. I suggest you take it one step at a time and buy one strong candle at a time, because some scents affect people in different ways. What smells good to someone in large doses may give you a headache, so it is good to experiment with certain scents.
