Colonial Candle: Making a Name for Itself across America
A few years ago I saw this company’s candles for the first time in a home store and thought they had scents that were a bit mild for me, but pleasant nonetheless. Little did I know that Colonial had been around for almost a century, and had quite a nice variety.
The company, officially named Colonial Candle of Cape Cod®, started in Hyannis, Massachusetts in 1909. It was started from a tradition of making bayberry candles as Christmas gifts for friends.
When I first saw a few of their candles in the home store, little did I know the vast array of different kinds of candles they actually have. They’ve got a nice variety of candle scents, including all sorts of floral scents and fruity scents, and usually have a delightful choice of seasonal scents to choose from.
On top of their variety of scented candles, they also have unscented candles, as well as a nice variety of different shaped candles and other items.
You’ll find candles to fit in with most any decor, whether you’re looking for pillars, tapers, votives, jar candles, or other shapes. They also feature scented oils, potpourri, and air fresheners.
