The Most Popular Candle Fragrances

With so many great candle merchants out there, sometimes it can be hard to decide on which fragrance to get. And if you're trying a new company out for the first time, sometimes getting a second opinion is a wise decision.

To help you out, we've found the most popular candle fragrances of 2005 from some of the finest candle companies out there.

Votive has grown to become one of the most esteemed candle brands out there, loved for their richly scented candles and unique scents. Their most popular candle right now is Votivo Red Currant.

Currant makes a big splash once again in the world of luxury candles... Dyptique Paris has a fragrance called "Baies Noires," a blend of black currant leaves and Bulgarian rose fragrances. Dyptique candles are also loved for their strongly scented candles as well as their natural ingredients.

Illuminations states that one of their perennial favorites is "Dulche de Leche," a combination of "sweet cream, silky caramel, pure cane sugar, and warm vanilla." Sounds heavenly to me!

While many companies do well with exotic fragrances, the National Candle association reported that the scent that has won out for years, is simply plain old vanilla.
